Re: Wk2....how many miles on yours, and what problems???

Just hit 60K. MY14 (March Build) Altitude. No issues (knock on wood). I have the MaxCare Warranty to ease any uneasiness.

Re: Wk2....how many miles on yours, and what problems???

89000 on my 2011 Hemi WK2 and so far only a few things. window regulator on driver's side went out at about 15k repaired under warranty, dash leather replaced due to peeling with Chrysler customer care covering 1/2 cost at 68k, windshield washer nozzle cracked and changed at 68k, water pump gave up at 88k and replaced under warranty. So far haven't used the Maxcare but sure am glad I still purchased it for the future.

Re: Wk2....how many miles on yours, and what problems???

'16 JGC Overland - Hemi. 1500 miles noticed oil leak on garage floor. Dealer said transmission was leaking around bell housing. Warranty swap out transmission... while doing the swap they noticed more oil leaking from oil pan. Repaired both under warranty.

I really like the car... but if other things develop I will NOT be keeping it past the warranty period.

Re: Wk2....how many miles on yours, and what problems???

2015 Hemi Overland

12K miles, they replaced the rear 1/4 trim in the hatch area because of a large gap in fit/finish. It goes in Friday to have the passanger HID headlamp replaced because one of the LED lights failed. I too have the maxcare, obviously this would be covered under the 3/36 bumper to bumper but the headlamp lists for 1200$ plus labor so Maxcare is the way to go because the parts and labor are now so expensive.

MY 02 WJ only has 68K on it but in 14 yrs have only repalced dash tweeter, rear caliper since one locked up, one set rotors and pads, two sets of plugs and fluid and filter changes, its been damn reliable.

I was told that my 2011 JGC Overland lights were not covered by the 3 year 36000 warranty. Lights were covered 1 year. Maybe 12,000 miles I don't know. They just said one year. I had a headlight go at just under the one year time and the service manager said it was just under the warranty limit. Is your 15 under one year? Also are head lights for a 15 really $1200 plus labor? That sounds very very high!

Re: Wk2....how many miles on yours, and what problems???

2014 Limited, 38,000 miles

Took delivery at 27,000 and have not had any major issues so far. I was getting the "Service 911/Phone" message every now and again but an update while at the dealer for an oil change seems to resolved that.

Looking through the service history before I bought it shows it was brought in for a couple radio issues by the previous owner.

I have purchased the 7 year 100,000 Mopar service contract as well.

Re: Wk2....how many miles on yours, and what problems???

2014 Overland with 51K miles. This is our first Jeep, but we're not new to the Chrysler family of vehicles (currently own a 05 Ram and had a 08 Nitro prior to this JGC). Crazy to think, but the dealer has caused more problems on the vehicle than from wear and tear.

  • ORC module failed, replaced under warranty
  • Water pump failed, replaced under warranty
  • Top of shifter not aligned with base, broke in transit before delivery
  • Windshield nozzle hose broken from nozzle, dealer broke when changing oil
  • Center console panel missing clip/panel hanging half open, dealer lost clip while replacing ORC

If my headlight goes and they don't replace it under warranty, I will just drive with no lights and then drive into their lobby and blame them for not replacing the light. I will say I couldn't see because I had no headlights. Jeep really sucks with their warranty sometimes.

2014 Summit V8

Just had the 20,000 mile service. So far, scheduled maintenance and recalls are the only times I've had it into the shop.

Yes I am just shy of 1 yr. Picked it up 5/11/2015 and was built on 4/26/2015.

Yes the HID with the LED's on the Overland list for 1200$

I do beleive they are warrantied for the 3/36 and are also part of the maxcare with 100$ dedeuctable. I will double check with my buddy.
