Hmm, I had assumed that the Overland would have these options by default and that the price of the vehicle would not change from July to December. So lets say if I bought one for 50k in July and my buddy bought one in December for 50k but his had the newly availible options that would kinda suck for me. Obviously this is not a big deal im just trying to get my head around this concept of late availibility for certain options, buying a brand new vehicle is a foreign concept to me

Thanks for the clarification guys!

Re: WK2 - Late availability features schedule

^^^^^those 2 overlands would be priced differently. The Overland purchased in Dec would be more $$$$$ than the overland purchased in July with those options

Jeep makes adjustments in pricing for "Standard" features - for example, Quadra-Lift is being delayed so the current MSRP on the Overland has been reduced accordingly, and will go back up when Quadra-Lift becomes available.

From the early information I have, the package that will include the Adaptive Speed Control/Forward Collision Warning and Side Blind Spot Detection features will be Optional and not Standard (~$1495.00 MSRP)...

Re: WK2 - Late availability features schedule

What NAV will be offered until the Garmin comes out in Aug? Nav not an option until then?

The Nav unit that is in the current WK will be used until the new Garmin unit is available.

Re: WK2 - Late availability features schedule

Chrysler's May 12 press release says that Garmin nav is standard on the Limited, and doesn't mention late availability. It also gives a price difference of $2000 between the Limited 4x2 and Overland 4x2. But the standard Luxury Group II and 20" wheels of the Overland are by themselves worth that much or more, according to the numbers I've seen, meaning with the Overland you are getting the Nappa leather and real wood trim for nothing. It makes you wonder what you can believe. It makes a lot more sense if Luxury Group II includes the Nappa leather, and wood trim. If so, you're getting a lot of stuff for $1495.

Re: WK2 - Late availability features schedule

Believe Milous, trust me when I say that Jeep isn't the first vehicle in history to offer late availability items.

Is Luxury Group II, or portions thereof, late availability?
