Those are repos or trade-downs. The economy is ill and due to that I've even seen a couple used 2011 Audi and BMW models show up recently along with some still-new-smelling econoboxes. I'm a car guy and live near a plethora of dealers from basic to Lamborghini/Range Rover (but no Jeep). So, when I take my runs/walks I always peruse what is in the lots. It's also kind of neat running into some Bears/Cubs/Sox/Wings/Bulls players later at night doing the same thing. Yes, I'm a car junkie.
I would stay FAR FAR AWAY from those. I would probably think they are ones that the owners got tired of the problems or they are buybacks. Usually when a new vehicle is traded that quick it is because they have had lots of issues.
One showed up at my local small town dealer a couple weeks ago. Ran the VIN through the build tracking site and it was originally sold to a national car rental place. going to stay away from that one
And hello, lurker here, finally had something to add hehe.
