WK2 - video in the sand

Hi everybody,
Just came back from a trip to some sand dunes, when I get a chance I'll update more videos and/or pics, in the meantime here is a quick sample of my GC climbing dunes.
Rgds.

Wait.. reading all those other posts I was convinced that a WK2 would just throw a code and sit waiting for a tow when in the sand. /snark

Nice run up the dune there.

Do you have QL by chance? I am curious how it will hold up to some fast bumps like that.

...those posts must be from negative drivers, usually people get in forums to complain but never to tell the goodo things.
My GC behaved very well, and everyday I'm happier with it.

Hi there,
The rims are :MT215 Rocca-5, got them from tirerack.
The crossbars I got them from Amazon and are not the Mopar originals, I got the replicas, much cheaper and excellent result so far, I had them on as in 2 weeks I put on top a big Thule Cargo Box to carry inflatables kayaks and all the toys for 10 days at a lake...keep in mind summer is coming in down here.
Rgds.

Were you in sand mode? Did you use 4 low? Just curious to know what you used, tried, what modes worked and which ones didn't. Were you on OR1 or 2? If so did you have all sorts of suspension sounds?

Hi there,
I was in sand mode, didnt have to use 4low as in sand mode and using the manual paddle shifters no problem with 2nd. or 3rd. gear.
As far as OR1 or OR2, the OR2 I can only use it if I'm going very slow, if not I end up jumping all over the place with that annoying "clunk" sound in my suspension, basically I was at standard height, only a few times did I have to use OR1 in order to get thru some rivers and/or very soft and deep sand, for the usual climbing I didnt even need OR1.
Hope the information helps you.
Rgds.
