Re: WKII Foot operated E-brake discussion

Won't know if it's really an issue until I sit in it with boots on which are worn half the time I drive my GC.

LOL I don't know how to explain what I mean. It's fun to use tho. The brake clicks into place the first time you press down on it. The second time you press it to take it off it unlocks this clicking mechanism. This can then be used to press up and down at any pressure without it locking. It is fun to drive fast and give it a double push and then use it as an actual brake. That's just me being crazy tho...

Re: WKII Foot operated E-brake discussion

I'm kind of indifferent really. It won't get in the way for me, and it'll clean up the interior. I always found the e-brake area collected dust and dirt like it was designed for that purpose. At the same time, there is a certain feel to being able to pull the e-brake...I wonder how everyone would feel if Jeep always had a foot brake and then moved it to the center console. I bet you'd get a similar reaction as we are seeing here!
