Would like some confirmation on lease figures, please

Hi. I am in the process of leasing a GJ High Altitude with HC. MRSP is $50,880. I was offered the jeep for 1% below invoice+$8K in incentives. Total selling price of $40,372. They are using non Chrysler lease figures because they are saying the numbers come out better. I know that the Chrysler MF is .00017 and residual is 48% for 39 months/10k mikes. But they are saying that the $8K in incentives is not from Chrysler, that coming from a different bank. Chrysler is only offering $4.5K. Is this true? Also, the residual goes up to 50% and the MF go up too to .00124. I ran the number for both and the non chrysler figures are better monthly. Any of you guys know these numbers to be true? They also are trying to charge me $945 acquisition fee when I know Chrysler waived the fee for this month too. I just want to know if any of these numbers make sense before I agree on anything.

Thanks.

The other finance company's numbers might look good now as a low monthly but be careful about being dinged for every little scratch and ding at lease return. Also, are the incentives taxable? If not and if I am calculating this correctly this comes out to a monthly payment of $430 plus tax which is pretty impressive for a 50k car.

I recently leased my HA ($50,880 MSRP) with similar incentives and discounts. I also leased through bank other than Chrysler Fin. in order to qualify for add'l credit. I leased for 24 mos x 18k miles per year. I don't recall exact figures on money factor and acquisition. Payment is lower with non Chrysler contract due to the added incentives. What sort of payment are they quoting you?

I got the same price minus the taxes for the Chrysler numbers plus the $8k off but I cant use those numbers plus the $8K incentives. They told me only $4.5K in incentives if you go with the Chrysler numbers. They are also trying to add in around $1200 in fees spread out to recoup some money. Of course I figured that out. The price they quoted my was $495 a month with taxes in the payment and $2500 total out of pocket. I'm gonna counter with $460 a month with $2500 down. That makes up for the $1200 they added in.

Just a tip: It is best to never put money down on a lease. If the vehicle is totaled or stolen you just threw that downpayment money out the window.

I doubt they will budge, seems like that $1200 is their profit, like another poster said don't put money down, if you decide to go with this deal roll everything in the payment. On another note do you think they will honor the same discounted price if you decide to purchase instead of lease? If that's the case buy it, finance it for 60months @0% and sell it after 36 months.

I am in the process of buying a HA as well and am getting the same price at around 40,000. How did you find out about the acquisition fee being waived this month? Trying to find some documentation to back this up in case the dealer wont budge. I plan on leasing for 36 month 15,000 and with it being such a good deal i will end the lease in a few months into it and just buy it out right.

Thanks

40k for the HA lease is great. I bought my HA and paid 46k for it.

I paid 39 for my overland with advanced tech and thought that was an incredible deal.

I'd pull the trigger on a 40k high altitude.

The waiver of acquisition may only be through Chrysler therefore, you'd be giving up the add'l $3500 or so by not going with the alternate bank.

Re: Would like some confirmation on lease figures, please

Geez, where are you guys getting these great lease deals? I went to Koon's in Tysons (VA) and about another dozen dealerships in the area (MD) and have been getting quoted between, $640-$715/month on an Overland with Advance Tech package and V6 (MSRP: ~$49,500). Summit's with a V6 from $750-$850/Month.

Now, that's for 36 months, 12k/year and absolutely $0 down/$0 drive off - And Tier 1 CR.

Is ~$650 too high for an Overland or $750/month for a Summit?
