Re: Would you go with Granite or Black for overland?

I picked up my 14' Granite Overland with the Indigo Blue interior last month. For me it was a no brainer the first time I saw the interior. It broke up my trend of black interiors and I have no regrets. Unless in direct sunlight the blues are very dark, almost black and the brown with white piping makes the whole interior pop with color. I love the Granite color as well, after a good detail it pops. Crappy interior picture included, its hard for pictures to pick up how it looks in real life. Been a month with my GC and I love it, havent experienced any issues as of yet, fingers crossed.

Good Luck....

Granite. I was between the two and haven't regretted it. Came from a Black GC and I feel like the granite looks cleaner longer. I'd love to see a granite that has the chrome blacked out. A couple times I have seen white 2014's and wish I had gone white...

Re: Would you go with Granite or Black for overland?

I went with Black for my Overland, which I picked up as part of the DC Area Group Buy back in May. Koons had similarly configured Overlands available that week in Granite and in Black Forest Green.

When I started my search (back in 2012) for a new '14 JGC, I figured I would look at every color EXCEPT black. In the end, however, I found I loved the sparkle pearl coat that adds an interesting dimension to this year's black finish---it's not a boring black at all, IMO.

Full disclosure: as a longtime Jeep owner I actually don't want my JGC to look pristine clean all the time. It's a Jeep, not a Mercedes! It takes me safely to places of mud, snow, ice and dust. And back. So, I have not been bothered at all by the black finish showing evidence of where this Jeep has been. Other Jeep owners may feel differently, I know, about this, so to each their own.

Real real real nice. I'm going to order the same combination tomorrow. Granite with indigo interior; oh and don't forget the diesel. LOL Most of my cars in the past have been black. I cannot have two Grand Cherokees sitting side by side in the garage unless it were a Summit; but I can't get the indigo in the Summit model. So the logic is that I spend more time looking at the inside than the outside; but not at first I'm sure. LOL

Once again your GC looks very nice. Enjoy it to the fullest and then some.

Thank you Stags00. That is a beautiful ride and I think I've just made up my mind.
