Wow this cross path detection is the best

Recently I've had two potential fender bender saves from the cross path detection.

One was a Bicyclists and I think as I backed out of my driveway he was in my blind spot. When it beeped, I stopped and had too take a few looks and there he was head down, my side of the road.

Again today, in a busy strip mall. Never saw anything. Had to look a couple times and there it was.

My fault of course in all cases. Never know for sure if it was a real save. But it sure is nice having a backup co-pilot.

Re: Wow this cross path detection is the best

Yup, it works extremely well. It can alert you of approaching things before you could ever see them with your own eyes.

Sounds like cross path detection saved you from something like this.

Re: Wow this cross path detection is the best

I seriously love cross path detection!! There's several scenarios where it's helpful but for me the most I've noticed it's helped is when I'm parked next to a truck and can't see well and trying to back out.

Bicyclist hate ftw

Totally would have been the cyclist's fault if he had enter the roadway in the cyclist's right of way, right?

Damn cyclists shouldn't be on the road!!

Saved my bacon quite a few times on I-95 when the swervy-all-over-the-roadee idiots try to come as close as they can to a major accident at what is likely more than 20mph over...

Re: Wow this cross path detection is the best

The cross path has alerted to a few good instances, but as of late the FCW has saved me twice in the past two weeks from almost rear ending two people, lol.
