I purchased this on 11/2 from the dealers used car lot with less than 6000 miles on it. Traded in a 2008 lifted JKU. They gave me a fair trade in and a great deal on the Trailhawk.
After exactly 1 month of having it, on Dec 2, I was in an accident. The car in front of me rear ended the car in front of them, then I rear ended them. Best news is, no one was injured.
It does not look like it, but there is about $7000 in damage. This was my first accident in about 25 years.
I took it to the dealer body shop for repair, hoping it will be done correctly there. The good news is, I drove it way. It held up very well for an accident like this.
My Trailhawk might be the first one in an accident?

We hear all kinds of comments about WK and WK2 Jeeps on this forum, good and bad. But one fact that I think we all can agree on is that there aren't many other vehicles on the road that you are safer in than ours. These things are still built like tanks!
As I said above, the JGC did a great job protecting us. There were 5 in the vehicle, Me driving and 4 passengers (my 17 yo son in the front and 3 of his 17 yo friends in the back seat). Not a bump or scratch on any of us!
River Oaks Jeep Body Shop in Houston did a fantastic job on the repair. I can not tell any difference in paint. The fit is exactly as it was prior.
There is a lot to be said about these vehicles, and a lot to be said about it being repaired at a Jeep dealer.
