@xenondepot - Would this eliminate the buzzing noise my xtreme kit makes when my lights first turn on?

Re: >>XenonDepot Needs your 2015+ WK2 without HID lights

I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude Edition with the Halogen Projector headlights. I would love to participate as I've tried 3 kits now and nothing is working like I would expect. The focus and throw of the current kit I have is terrible and I'm switching back to the halogens until I can find something that works 100%. I will never buy from CarXenonHIDkits.com again. I made this mistake in thinking it was XenonDepot and wasted $200 and about 4 hours of my time running wires, ballasts, warning cancelers, and after that didn't work I had to order relays. After receiving the relays the HIDs worked well, but they just aren't fitted for this projector style Halogen. They project a U shaped beam and don't focus down range at all. I professionally installed stereos as a teenager and did 10 years as an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force so it's not user error. I would love to give you guys at Xenon Depot an in depth overview of installation and a non biased opinion. Let me know if the offer is still available.

@Basscl09 & @tmyers257- Unfortunately we've already got a few testers lined up already, but stay tuned for feedback!

@skunkd - I'm not sure what you mean by "patched up solution" but I can assure you that supposed "Canbus" ballasts are not a 100% solution for all MOPAR applications - they vary.

@b_zieman - The buzzing/humming noise coming from the ballasts is normal, as it's just the ballasts warming up.

Re: >>XenonDepot Needs your 2015+ WK2 without HID lights

@skunkd - I'm not sure what sort of testing you have personally done, how many different types of vehicles you've personally tested the product in, whether you've personally communicated with the ballast manufacturer of the ballast you are referencing - I'm guessing none.

Unless you've got something relevant to add I would appreciate it if you could please keep the thread on topic with relevant (factual) information.

Steve

Have to side with XenonDepot on this one. No need to be a wise guy @Skunkd. We are all here to help each other and XenonDepot was just trying to get some real world feedback before releasing a product which I can appreciate. I've been thru 3 kits now and wasted hundreds of dollars on HIDs that don't project properly in the projector style Halogens.

Re: >>XenonDepot Needs your 2015+ WK2 without HID lights

@skunkd what kit do your reccomend? And I assume you have the halogen projector lights on your 2015 WK2? How is the throw and pattern on them? I'm so frustrated with the kits I've received. I'm willing to try anything someone has found works great and is brighter than factory down range.

Re: >>XenonDepot Needs your 2015+ WK2 without HID lights

@skunkd - canbus is different from PWM -- I'm assuming you know this due to your expertise (the 2015 Cherokee is different from the 2016 cherokee btw).

Our 2015+ Mopar kits previously sold *work* on 2015+ Mopar vehicles across the board. This thread is for a completely different part that makes installation a lot simpler by omitting additional components that were previously required (such as relays, resistors, and capacitors).

What you're posting is not relevant to the topic being discussed in this specific thread (nor do I appreciate the insinuations you are making). If you want to find a plug for the kit that you're selling, please feel free to start a new thread and do so and stop spamming this one.

Just look in the ram forums and charger forums....the canbus fix doesnt work on all 15+. Ive been researching the 15+ charger...as my wife has one and its hit or miss with the canbus fix ballasts. The 15 charger is different from the 16 charger. Same with the 300.

Search a little harder. That's not correct if you use the right ballast you don't even need a separate canceller

Just like the 2014 JGC + RAM is different than the 2015+ JGC + RAM etc...

This thread is a joke lol you guys seriously need to learn how to internet if you need help let me know. If you just wanna be an ass and say I don't know what i'm talking about save your breath because obviously you don't know what you are talking about.
