2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Air Ride suspension
So I was wondering if anyone knew about the 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland 3.6L Air Ride Suspension bc the Air compressor for the air ride suspension had either blown or shorted out back in March and was replaced April 9, 2015 which cost about $1500.00 bc it was out of warranty and supposedly the dealership had to also replace the 8 fittings that were associated with the air suspension bc they said that once the fittings are taken off you can't put them back on so that was $400.00 in addition to the $1500.00. So i spent around $2000.00 on the repair and in early December the Air compressor went again and it has been in the shop ever since. I have 2 questions
1. Do the fittings ALWAYS have to be replaced or did I waste $400.00 the first air compressor repair?
2. Why does this air compressor for the suspension keep blowing/malfunctioning?
