Very easy to do but not advised if you have sausage fingers like myself as you can easily cut up your hand..lol
also please do not do this with the vehicle on. I'm just saying this because there are some people who wouldn't use there noggin when attempting any repair.
okay so on the drivers side remove the air box. you'll need a screw driver to undo the screw on the accordion intake pipe and the crankcase tube. remove top and bottom piece of filter box. then on the back of the headlight assembly you will find a rubber cup on the back of it. squeeze it off. disconnect wire from hid bulb then reach in and twist the part that holds the hid bulb in place. reverse removal to reinstall everything but before you do that check to make sure bulb works otherwise you will make more work for yourself.
now passenger side is a bit more tight. I usually disconnect computer ( 3 connectors ) move the harnesses below computer so they aren't in the way. remove relay for tipm recall from the metal frame ( that is if yours was installed in that location ) squeeze hand in pull out cup and do the same as you did on the drivers side.
if this is too difficult to follow I highly suggest not touching your jeep and let someone who knows what they are doing install them. It's great saving a few bucks when you can do it yourself but it's not great trying to be a diy'er with 4 missing fingers and an eye patch.
