2014 GC Wheel Arch Plastic removal?

Hey guys, sorry if this has been posted.. If so, can someone please link me to the thread... It would be much appreciated.

I got myself a nice little graze on the left rear wheel arch plastic lip, which extends over both the door and main arch. I've arranged a good deal for this to get painted which awesome, but I would ideally like to take the two parts in so I can drive the car in the meantime, then reinstall them myself when he's done. So, my question is, can I easily remove them and reinstall them? Are there any official PDF guides, or has someone written down a step by step, is there any videos, etc?

Thanks
Simon

Re: 2014 GC Wheel Arch Plastic removal?

Any update on this? I'm looking for instructions on how to remove/replace the trim around the door. Wife caught it on something in the garage and pulled it off. I'm out of town TDY for the military and I'm trying to find something to help her install it.

The piece that is on the door slide the piece up and pull out I believe it has three clips. You will most likely break one , but if your careful if you pull fast enough you will just flex the clip out of the wheel flare

i carefully pulled and slid a flat blade screwdriver to release the white clips, they have wings which retain them in the hole...be patient
