Go here - https://rsur.extra.chrysler.com/rsur/Uconnect.do
Download whatever it offers, I think there are instructions too, follow them to install whatever file it gives you, it can't hurt, it can only help.

That site does suck for downloading, it works sometimes with some browsers, then better with another browser another time.
The install procedure is pretty easy, if it is the same as the 8.4" Uconnect models.

When you push the buttons to do a reset, be aware that you have to hold them down for a while before the system recognizes what you are wanting to do. This is probably a safety feature to prevent you from doing it accidently (or to hide it from us mere owners).

Re: 2014 jeep uconnect issue

May be a stupid question but if I have the UConnect Access And can start my Jeep, blow horn etc from a PC, can I do it from an app on an Ipad or only a smart phone? I know I could do it thru the Jeep website on an IPad.

Re: 2014 jeep uconnect issue

I found the app - I only see the screen for Pandora but not for locking doors. I have a 2013 SRT Jeep Uconnect. What do I have to do to enable this please?

Re: 2014 jeep uconnect issue

Regarding "soft reboot" another reboot method ( dependent on your type of radio, is to simultaneously press volume and tuning knobs for 5-10 seconds. I would however study the U Connect upgrade procedures available on the Internet .
Finally, the extremely knowledgable Jeep Garage members are a lifesaver.
