2014 Radio Unlock for 8.4N

Hi All, I had to disconnect my battery and when I reconnected it my radio gives me a : Radio Unlock" message. it all works, radio, A/C but I cant see anything on the screen. I looked everywhere for instructions on "unlocking the radio". Does anybody know how to do this? Thanks!

I think holding the driver side up and down temperature buttons is supposed to reset it. Or, try hitting the assist button on the mirror and ask them.

Holding those buttons will take you to the engineering menu so you better know what you're doing or you can screw stuff up a little. What you can do is hold those 2 buttons and the front defrost button all at the same time that will put you in dealer mode. Someplace in there you can activate the radio/NAV I don't remember Atm exactly where

Jeep owners are supposed to be adventurous, otherwise they would have a Lexus.

Re: 2014 Radio Unlock for 8.4N

Necrobump.

I did the RA2 to RA4 conversion, and have the "radio locked, start vehicle" message. Hopefully this will let me activate it finally. I also have the anti-theft code, don't know if I will need it though. Wish me luck.

I looked through the dealer mode yesterday, and could not find where to activate the gps and radio, I did the RA2 to RA4 conversion.

Sometimes just starting the Jeep will get it out of that mode. Had it happen to my 300 once

Too many mods to list for each, so let's just say a lot was done over the years.
