Re: 4.7 ho throttle body

From my understanding is the difference on the inside of the throttle body. On the outside they should all be the same. You could even put an aftermarket 70 mm throttle body on it (BBK).
You would probably win more power by changing the exhaust system with a high flow system.

A larger throttle body or throttle body spacers won't improve anything.

spacers do nothing in a 4.7 as the fuel is injected in the intake runners of the cyl heads. if the injectors were in the tb then maybe you could see improvement with one.

our engines need a larger tb

Re: 4.7 ho throttle body

As far as my exhaust goes I cut the huge muffler out replaced it with some straight pipe. Day and night differnce as far as power goes huge improvement! And I stripped all the intake boxes off and put a cone directly on the throttle body until my cold air system comes
