Blower Motor connector repair

This is my first post! Hello to all! I'm sure all of you "Jeep" people out there know what I'm talking about when it comes to the connector on the blower motor overheating and melting! Well, I have the new wiring harness and the new blower motor. The harness game with green and blue wires but the old one had red, black and ble. I'm not sure in what order to connect these wires together as they aren't the same colors any more. Where does the positive wire go??? Anyone??? Thanks for any help you can give!

Re: Blower Motor connector repair

Welcome from Scotland!

Off the top of my head I can't remember the set up. I changed mine a while ago. There'll be someone here who remembers

Re: Blower Motor connector repair

Thank you so much for the reply! I know there was a blue wire that went in the middle but as far as the red and black wire goes???? I'm not sure which side of the plug to splice them to. I don't want to hook up the possitive to the wrong side! It's cold here in New England!!!! Can anyone help?

Re: Blower Motor connector repair

I braved the cold and went out to my Jeep to have a look. Unfortunately I must have used an older unit, either that or they are different over here.

All my wires are the same! The right side comes stright fom the module.

Sorry. I did try

Re: Blower Motor connector repair

You did awesome! LOL! Thank you!!! Now, my question is.... those wires get spliced with the green wires I have for my new plug that goes into the blower motor controll module itself. Does the red (poss) wire go on the outer side of the plug or the inside?

I think this is what you're looking for...'scuse the shaky pic, it really is cold out

You should be able to work out the wiring from this.
