well, to continue the threadjack

pix of old kitchen, and new kitchen (not quite done then, done now).

I am an interactive cook, and I like to have people work with me in the kitchen, or at least be able to watch and drink.

The 'old' kitchen had a lot of issues, the biggest being that when I was at the cooktop my back was to everyone.

So new kitchen. All done by me except for the Silestone countertop: they wisely refused to sell the stock to me.

Yeah, it's still a dump, but it's home There is nothing quite like cooking with friends..

This is Missy. I bought her for $100 from some sketchballs off of craigslist without even meeting her. She was stolen by them from a guy who had neglected and abused her, so even though they looked sketchy, they did the right thing (in my opinion)...
Her name was Mischief, so i figured since i wanted her to know her name, i would change it to Misses and it had eventually became missy.
I immediately got her shots, microchip, i spayed her, etc etc..
She was VERY shy when i got her, but she became very close to me immediately..
The first time i left her alone, when i came home, so did the wiggle dance and spun around in circles sooo happy...
I couldnt keep her. It breaks my heart sooo much to this day. I even cry about it here and there.
She is still amazing. The owner keeps me updated frequently
