I'm curious what was involved? Was the location under the seat a PITA? If you had it done, what was the cost? Also, is there anything that requires rebooting after power is cut, or does it all boot up automatically? Thanks in advance.
Mine is only a year and a half old. The battery is fine. However out here in the hot weather they don't last very long, and I was just wondering what I was in for when the time came? Thanks.
I wonder if, not being in the engine area, batteries in the JGC will (generally) last longer. I need to hang a temperature probe in the battery box of my 2014 to find out the difference in temperature, but I am sure it stays cooler than under the hood.
