Re: How-to - Basic Maintenance

Hey guys, do I have to remove the skid plate on a 2007 5.7 hemi to access the oil drain plug? I cannot find a write up on the oil change procedure. I am a pretty advanced mechanic but this is my first grand Cherokee. Also, Mobil 1 or ams oil?

Its only 4 bolts.. might as well remove it and will give you more access given its your first time doing it but its pretty straight forward.
