Re: HOW TO: Paint Your Calipers

Nice write up! Good pics and details. Looks great too. Just seeing the color through the wheels begs closer inspection so I'd say mission accomplished!

I agree on going back in to the "Jeep" logo with a black or even white. Something to make it stand out.

For others wanting to do this, how about a product link to the paint you used?

Re: HOW TO: Paint Your Calipers

What about bright silver for the logo on the calipers? That'd stand out, albeit not as much as something like yellow on the blue but I remember you saying you didn't like yellow.

Re: HOW TO: Paint Your Calipers

Thought I'd get mine painted today but my son told me the 300 brakes were making a grinding noise. Never a good thing. I took all the pads off and the rear, driver's side outer pad had somehow gotten cocked and the top was contacting the rotor more than the bottom. Of course the little noise clips are on the bottom of the pad. Not too bad of damage to the rotor. Got them cut and all's well but as I'm an old bastard, now I'm too lazy to start on the Jeep! Oh well, another time.

haha.... glad you got it fixed.

I actually had 2 random people sitting at lights compliment the calipers yesterday on my way to work, so, some people notice.

i like the blue because its not something you see as often as the red. granted, they offer pink and purple and a few other hella bright colors, but, i'm not feeling THAT adventurous.

I'd do pink on my sisters Special Edition WJ. Behind chrome SRT reps, that would look sweet!
