How To: reverse hid WJ

This is what I did....

Needed:
HID KIT 9005
Black tape
Blade to cut wire or a wire stipper
screw driver

1. cut the hid conector where you would counnect if it was 9005 conection
2. unscrew tail light
3. take out factory reverse conection
4. mount kit in that hole of the bumper and glue it if you like
5.strip the black wire and conect black to black and tape it up
6. strip black and purple for tail light and conected it to the red from hid tape it up
7. check if it works
8. squezze the bulb in carfully intill all the way in
9. tape in in place with strips going across
10. put tail light back on
11. close trunk lol

HAVE ANY QUESTION OR WANT MORE PICS JUST ASK

place ballest in here

it hard to tell but its black with black and black purple with red

what you get.

Re: How To: reverse hid WJ

I like!! I should add that to my 3 other reverse lights! (Two on the rack, and one below hitch)

Then I really won't have to worry about my reverst camera not having enough light.

Noice, Im gonna look into this

Question though, how did you mount the bulb in the hole given that you had to remove the stock socket?
