Resetting Change Oil message?

I normally change my own oil. How do I reset the "change oil" message that comes on when I start my 2012 Liberty?

Turn the ignition switch to ON (do not start) and fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 10 seconds and then turn the ignition switch to OFF, then start the Jeep. The message should be cleared.

Sanjuro77. You are a Genius genius genius is all I can say. My WK2 was showing this message. I called dealer for appointment after checking my mileage and the next due date for servicing they told me oil change not needed. If I wanted I can go over to them for resetting the message.

Tried as advised and the message is no longer showing. Thank a mil. You saved me a trip and some money, I guess.

Cheers,
Muzzy
