setting AC default

Hi folks,
Whenever I switch on my Jeep WK2 AC by default it switches on the heater. I need to manually press the buttons (man shape & internal recycling) Is there any way I can set it to AC default. My friends Denali buttons have faded doing this last 3 years. Don't want same to happen.
