Hello all,
As everyone knows, Winter has come upon us. For everyone who is affected by the dreaded salt, I have a few questions. I am looking to do another undercoating job to my WK, but I did this recently to the rear half during the Summer. I noticed that in the places that were rusting quite a bit, the rust cam through the undercoating even though I removed most and covered what little was left with a rust reformer and primer. I expected it to come back, but not within a few months. So, I thought I would ask for some advice!
First, is there a technique to this to allow a more complete and effective job? Also, does anyone have a recommendation as to get the hard to reach areas of the front portion of the under body? Lastly, should I worry about removing any excess old undercoat, or should I paint right over that?
I have really been procrastinating with this, so hopefully some advice serves as motivation! All help is greatly appreciated!
