First time reaching out on Jeep Garage so go easy. I have a left front tire not sending or receiving the pressure in the tire. I have a warning light that says service the TPMS but would like to avoid the dealer costs if possible. I understand this is a two part system - a sending unit in the value stem and a receiving unit (sensor) in the wheel well? All 3 other tires are registering fine with correct pressure readings. If your Jeep tpms gives the location of each tire -moving the tire in question to another location on the veh and a failure to read in that location would indicate it's the sensor that's bad and not the receiver in the prior location.
It's recommended that sensors be replaced every 5yrs - their designed life. Newer sensors may last up to ten yrs.
tiresensorwarehouse.com for replacement sensors. Any tire shop should be able to install for dismount&mount fee. If you deal with Discount Tire they might do one tire for free.
