Wanting to disarm

I want to disconnect my airbags in my 89 Cherokee. It is off road only will never see pavement again. I'm afraid off the going off while on the trail and hurting me or one of my kids who sometimes ride up front
Any ideals on how without them going off

Re: Wanting to disarm

Ya that would effective disarm everything. It produces the electrical pulse to fire the squib in the airbag. So I don't see any feasible way that they'd go off with out.
