TSB to undo electronic speed limitation

Hi guys,
I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in the US in 2010 and shipped it to Germany. Now I would like to get rid of the electronic speed limit (in the US it is standard that the WK2 doesn't drive faster than 111 mph).

Now my question ...is there a TSB that eliminates the speed limitation? (...if I am not mistaken there was a TSB for Canada exports that eliminates the speed limit.)

Thank you!

Re: TSB to undo electronic speed limitation

Your German dealer should be able to answer that if you get no answers here.

The TSBs we have access to can be found here:

Thanks ...chances someone in this forum knows the answer are MUCH bigger. I asked my dealer. He is not aware of such TSB (but I doubt that he is really into this).

Re: TSB to undo electronic speed limitation

Probably not.

The speed limiter is approximately based on the tires the vehicle shipped with, because that's how we roll here in the US (for better or worse).

I'd guess you'll need a tuner to get rid of that limit.

Re: TSB to undo electronic speed limitation

I believe the Diablo programmer allows you to change the speed limit.
