05 grand Cherokee 5.7 will not start

I have a 2005 Jeep grand Cherokee a limited 5.7 later when I put the key in the ignition and attempt to started it will not start. The battery is fine the starter should be fine it was just change not too long ago. I'm not getting a click like when you have a bad solenoid on the starter. When I first started doing it to me I would put the key in the ignition go to started and it wouldn't start I would turn the key back then turn forward again to start it and it would start it did that a few times. I did take the relay from the starter underneath the hood and switch it with the AC relay that is the same part number and still nothing. Anyone.

Re: 05 grand Cherokee 5.7 will not start

If you donīt hear the faint click of the starter relay, then move the gear selector a few times out of Park or try to start in Neutral. Can be an adjustment thing, or a park/Neutral switch which is on its way out. Eventually the ignition switch itself can be the culprit.
If you hear the click of the starter relay, then you will have to check the ground connection of the starter solenoid. Corrosion or a loose connection can prevent it from starting.

I wiggled the wires near the starter and I got it to start. My buddy over at jeep said that they have a fix for the wire that is down near the starter. It's the wire that is looped. It goes bad. $13 for the fix kit.
