2005 GC runs so bad

Hello all! I have this 2005 jeep GC that just decided to run really bad and my mechanic said it would be very pricey to fix. Being on a budget leaves me to fend for myself :-(
I filled it up with gas and shortly after it started running so very poorly. It displays the following codes on my 2005 GC 4.7
P0404 p 05/07
C0700 p 06/07
P0172 02/07
C0300 03/07
P0068 04/07
P0004 07/07

I looked at this and my head spins, any ideas on how I approach this fix? I am confident I can do the repair but I struggle on how do I tackle this. Any help would surely be appreciated

Cheers
David

Re: 2005 GC runs so bad

Quite some codes set. Did you use a scanner to read the codes, or doing the key dance? I would first reset the codes and testdrive, to see which codes are hard. It would also be wise to check the fuel trim figures, since bank 1 has a fault code for being rich (P0172). Check if the O2 sensor 1-1 (bank 1, sensor 1) is changing its voltage rapidly from 0.2-0.8V.
The P0404 has to do with the EGR valve, it could be carbon buildup on the valve, preventing it to open or close.
Also check for any vacuum leaks in the inlet and loose/broken vacuum lines.

Thanks so much for the reply, yes I bought a cheap code reader, I didn't reset codes but I will do that, thank you for the advice!

Sorry for the late reply but I finally got my jeep fixed! Thanks so much for the help, you were right I replaced the egr valve and that cleared up all the codes and now it runs great! Thanks again you saved me a ton of money.
