2005 Hemi Towing problem

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi. 130,000 miles.
It has been making a roaring noise when I tow my boat. I have 18 ft bass boat with 150 hp motor, single axle trailer. I guess it weighs about 3000 pounds or so. When I get over 50 mph I hear a rumble/roar coming from the back end. It comes and goes. So it makes the noise about every minute or so and last for 30 seconds to a minute. It has been getting worse and sometimes I think I am getting some vibration from it. Everything on my trailer is good and the jeep runs great when I am not towing. Any ideas? Thanks
