2005 WK Limited Issue

I have a 2005 Grand Cherokee 5.7 Limited that I have started experiencing a strange issue with. When traveling in the vehicle for over an hour, parking it for a short time then getting back in I'm getting a noise and rubbing when making a sharp right turn. It does not do it when I turn left, only right. It almost sounds like the tire is rubbing but I have verified that is not the case. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some tips on what to start looking for?Just a note, I have never noticed it on small trips around town (normal daily driving)

Any input would be appreciated!

Re: 2005 WK Limited Issue

Do you know when the differential fluid was changed? It can be that the limited slip additives function is lost and the differential locks, causing a wheel to skip in tight turns (only valid for quadra drive though).

Have you checked the wheel bearing/hub assembly for unwanted play?
