2006 grand Cherokee navi screen out

Hey guys and gals. I have had the issue for a while but would like try and fix it. My head unit has been out for some time now. Only thing I can do is use the preset radio stations that I have. Does anyone know how to get the screen to work again (fuse maybe) and all other button functions.

Remove the radio from the dash for a few minutes and then plug it back in

Can you hear the fan running when it did work? Sounds like it is over heating and shutting down

That's exactly what happened. The fan was running at all and even after tips from the Internet and you, it still wasn't wanting to work. Took it out and I'm going to repair it. Went ahead and replaced for time being.
