Stupid, stupid, stupid.
I've visited these forums a number of times since I bought my Grand Cherokee. You guys rock.
So I heard there was a new software update available for the RBZ radio in my 2011 MyGig RBZ unit. I gathered that from this thread: New Software Update MyGIG RBZ-RB2-RHB / 33.01.23
So I excitedly downloaded the software and tried to perform the install. It didn't go well. Last night, I followed the directions and the radio looked like it was going to install. But one hour later, the screen was locked up at "Updating software. This may take a few minutes" (or something to that effect).
So I left the thing running all night. Got up this morning and it was still locked up. So I removed the fuse the re-inserted it. The radio came back on and actually had progress bars indicating the software was finally installing. Yaay! That step evidently completed and the unit re-booted.
Well, now it is stuck in a boot-loop. It displays the JEEP logo for 5 minutes or so then reboots and does the same thing again. I just got back from a 2 hour road trip and it did this the whole time.
So the question is: How badly screwed am I? Does thing thing have a reset button so I can revert back to the old software?
