2012 GC Overland Groaning Noise

Sounds crazy I'm sure but the noise is getting more frequent and I have no clue what it is. Literally sounds like if this jeep had a stomach it would be groaning. Some times it's quieter than other times, sometime longer than others. Not sure if it's the air handler for the off road lift system this style jeep came with or not. Just want to be able to give the dealer a direction when I go in versus walking in blind.

Anyone have any idea what this might be?

Adam

Mine did, and in fact does again, and it was due to leaky shock that needs to pump up when restarted. Mine only did it the first start of the day, or after several hours.

Not sure if this is my current issue or your issue though.

Have you taken it in for warranty work?

Yeah, Jeep replaced the left rear strut-so that was the sound.

The new sound is the same as the previous one, in the same place so maybe a standard defect?
