Everything unplugged factory settings except the ones set up with registration of uconnect. Dashlights remain on and wont shut off. JEEP is dead this morning again parked in a garage next to the Cadillac sxs. Taking it in to the local service guys today. I will post about what they come up with. This ought to be glorious fun!!!

Evrything was caused from a door ajar code which ran the battery down and only reset at the service dept after a full recharge which only took 1.5 hours with a pulse charger. We will see if that was truly the problem. It may be a door that is misaligned.

Now back in the NW and the JGC Summit was dead again on Friday morning. Now has been in the service dept for two days with 70 + codes thrown... they dont know wtf is wrong with it!!!! Looking like invocation of the lemon law is at hand...gawd damned american lazy quality standards!!! Good thing I still have my Tacoma with 335000 miles on it it still purrs like a kitten.

Sorry to hear that man. I understand your frustrations fing sucks. It's really all this electronic stuff giving the 2014 JGC customers fits. Only good thing is the problems are showing up early when we still have bumper to bumper warranty. I was going to buy the maxcare warranty when I first bought my overland but I passed because I wasn't sure how long I would keep the jeep since it was my first Chrysler product. Figured I could always buy one later if she doesn't give me too many problems and I have confidence in her not to need a trip to the dealership every few months. Some very weird stuff you have going on keep us posted. And wow on the 335k miles I bet you haven't even replaced many parts on the way

Re: 2014 Summit 1269 miles dead battery

What was your build date? Was it during the loose-ground period?

Grounds and cables are all tight... I received the JEEP 07012013 and it is with one of the best techs in the PNW right now and he is either milkin it or it is a real head scratcher

So within 10 minutes of this post service calls jeep is done. They spent near 16 hours to decide that it needed the updated software! We will see if that works. The truck did power down after getting back home. Their wash job is a joke though.

You can probably order another one from autozone, because i think they just trade.. Or junkyard?
Im not sure.. Did you call summit racing and complain/ DEMAND a refund?
