2017 GC Trailhawk Hemi - Loss of power & tranny issue

Hello fellow Jeepers-
Looking for suggestions/ ideas on what direction I should go on this.

I Have a 17 GC Trailhawk,w/ Hemi
2 issues (longer descriptions below):
1. Traveling at highway speeds, no response when flooring it. Felt similar to my first highway test - when I hit approx 118 MPH, the limiter kicked in. This time I was going 80 MPH Zane could not complete a pass of a car.
2. Minutes later, Followed by, lower speed merge to secondary highway, high rpm rev, as if transmission was not shifting ( stuck in first), remedied by going to neutral then back into gear.
A little concerned as this is first road trip, now am far from home/back up vehicles.

Following are additional details, feel free to skip over
- 900 mile trip. 4 passengers, trailer hitch cargo carrier with luggage approx 250 pounds luggage.

- Using 91 octane / ethanol free - (tracking mileage for first 3k using Pure gas ap as an MPG experiment) -Maybe bad gas in Podunk Wyoming ? Have 1/4 tank full now.

- Odometer 1750 miles

- Was using the ACC, set at 80. Did great for previous 12 hours, nothing unusual. As we approached Denver and traffic picked up, I needed to move around some traffic - punched the gas and no response. I then floored it, again no response, speed maintained around 80. I then selected SPORT mode and tried again - again, no surge of power and was unable to pass vehicle - speed maintained at 80.
- I then de-selected ACC, (thinking the surrounding traffic may have been the culprit)hit accelerator, and got same results - it just seemed to top out at 80.
- Scanned through vehicle info - oil, tranny engine temps all normal
- Now car is parked - no oil leaks or anything strange.

This is my third jeep, and have had many other cars, and have not a clue as to what could be going on.

Any ideas are appreciated!

Weird. Could've been the acc with all the traffic. I've used acc on my SRT on trips to florida and anytime I needed to "punch it"...that baby cut loose with all hell fire....no delay or anything like yours.
