730N Ate my cd and wont give it back

My wifes new my13 Durango RT has 1000 miles on it with the 730N radio and wont play the cd that has been playing just fine now. It just is a blank screen like there is no cd. It also shows the little cd in the corner telling you there is a cd in it. When we try to eject it nothing happens. Everything else on the radio functions like normal. Anyone have this problem before? I am taking it to the dealer Monday but would rather not. I hate taking anything into the dealer. They usually break or scratch something else while fixing what it is there for. Thanks everyone.

The first thing to do is read the owner's manual. Most CD players have a manual eject, often requiring pushing a pin into a small hole.

Sometimes holding the eject button for 10 seconds will force an eject as well. (Not sure if that Applies but reading the manual definitely a good idea)

I don't KNOW of any players that don't have that small emergency release [but no accounting for Mopar Madness :-) ]
A reasonably stiff paper clip usually works, as does a "T pin" with the point ground flat.
If all else fails, a good local auto stereo shop tends to have folks a bit better than typical mechanic would be at releasing the CD.
