97 TJ starting issue

Cranks fine but no spark or fuel. Also fuel gage and volt meter don't register. Any suggestions? Jeep stays in matagorda and gets used about every two weeks. Ran fine last time. Prob a sensor but not sure which one.

Re: 97 TJ starting issue

I forgot to tell, just remove the connector from each sensor one by one and see if the fuel and volt gauge return to normal indication. In this way you can indicate which sensor is the faulty one. Most of the time its the crank position sensor.

Re: 97 TJ starting issue

As mentioned before, remove also the connector from the cam sensor and see if fuel and volt gauge give normal indication. Also MAP and TPS are fed with the same 5V from the PCM. If disconnecting each at a time doesnt help, then it could still be a wiring problem, or the PCM itself.
