a/c causing Motor temp to go up alot

Quick ? for anyone. I have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.7. the problem I am having is this. When the temperature outside is above 80 and i run the a/c the motor Temp starts jumping up at 10 degrees. I turn off the a/c and it goes back down. I had been hearing some squealing from the front and sounded like a bearing but couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from. The a/c does cool things off and I am not losing refrigerant rapidly that I can tell of.

I am thinking something is going on with the compressor because of the heating up of the motor when the a/c is on but I wanted to get someone opinion. The normal temp. that it is running at is around 209 degrees but I do tow a 6x10 enclosed trailer at times which jump the temp by a couple degrees already.

Right now I am in Florida and will be moving to Texas so the a/c is something I will be using. But when the temp starts getting up to 220 or 225 degrees It needs to be turned off.

Re: a/c causing Motor temp to go up alot

Did you check if the radiator cooling fan is working ok? Does yours still have an electric cooling fan, or already the hydraulic fan?

It has both the electric fan and a Fan with Hydrolic Clucth on motor. I tried stopping the fan on the motor with a empty water bottle and it doesnt even slow it down. I didn't check the electric fan but I haven't heard it come on so I will check that next. (Didn't think of that)
