AC clutch

Is there any way to see if is engaging, and if not how to get it going?

Re: AC clutch

Welcome to the garage.
Which jeep you have?
You can normally see if the clutch is engaged or not, by looking at the clutch plate, which sits just in front of the pulley. It should turn together with the pulley when engaged, or standing still when disengaged.
If it will not engage, then the clutch coil could be the problem, the clutch coil relay, but most of the time its due to low pressure in the AC system. Also the AC pressure switch could be the problem.
