Have not tried that yet, we do not loose any engine power at all and the radio stays on.

Drove it over 50 miles today and no problems

I had a similar issue on my 05 WK 4.7. Especially driving at night, I'd lose headlights, dash would go dark, then everything would light up.
I cleaned the battery terminals but also cleaned connectors on the two large connector blocks under the dash on the driver side. No problems since.
