Antifreeze Smell

I have an 05 TJ 6 cylinder. I bought it about a week ago. I love it! The only problem is a strong antifreeze smell when heat is on. That is usually the heater core. I had it pressure checked and it lost no pressure. My mechanic put some of those tablets in it just in case it had a really small leak. It still smells. Could it be something else or do I need a heater core?
Thanks!

Re: Antifreeze Smell

Welcome to the garage.
Did you already check for any coolant under the carpets? Is there any loss of coolant at the moment?

Re: Antifreeze Smell

I can tell any loss of coolant so far. Yes we looked at carpet and there is no sign.
