Backup camera

I have a 2010 Jeep Cherokee Limited with 24000km's on it. The question I have is about the backup camera. The camera I have is like looking through a convex mirror. I have three other vehicles with cameras and they all have very clear pictures and you can see very well with them but the one in the Jeep is extremely poor. It is blurry and the picture seems to be almost rounded. I don't ever use it as the quality is so poor.
Is this normal or do I just have a crappy camera?? I have taken it in for service and was told that all the jeeps from 2010 and older have the same kind of camera and that is just the way they are. They keep telling me the camera is fine.
Are the cameras in the older Jeep all like that or is it just mine??

Re: Backup camera

The Mopar camera is crap. So no, there is nothing wrong with it.

Re: Backup camera

I dont feel the same about the mopar cameras, Maybe I am just more comefortable with a "crappy" picture, but I really dont feel what I drive at work has a bad picture or is blurry... you should have a warranty no? go have it checked out at the dealer!

I looked at quite a few and while the work they are much, much worse than some others. The GMC I had was crystal clear, even at night. These, not so much.
