check engine light.

came on last night.

I pulled up to my friends house last night nad turned off the jeep, went inside and got her.

We hopped in the jeep started it up... ( so hid's are now running... halo's) we pull out her driveway and she turns on her heated seat... and plugs in the ipod to my stereo...

all of a sudden it put a check engine light on..
im not worried i fig it is something small that tripped.

after i get home plugged in the predator and told me it was a low voltage error and it wouldnt clear the code.

Anything i can do to fix it?
All of my wiring was done professionally halo's were checked by the guy who did my stereo and he told me it was perfect.

any ideas would be awesome. Thanks

Re: check engine light.

I dont think a basic code reader will clear the TCM, and that is usually where a low voltage DTC sets first.

Disconnect your battery and touch the cable ends together or step on the brake to ensure you have fully drained all the voltage out of the modules. That should get the code cleared, if it does not you have a hard fault, quite possibly your battery.
