esp bass light on and car with swirvy road

got this light on yest while driving home in less than idea situations. by the time i got home the light shut off by itself!

thank you joe for picking up the phone when i called you!

i shut off the truck and let it sit for 5 mins on the highway and then turned it back on and both lights were still on.

2 blocks from my house the lights magically disappeared! anyone have this?

should i go to the dealership?

Re: esp bass light on and car with swirvy road

Same thing happens when you pull the ABS Fuse...Check that first. If it magically disappeared I wouldn't worry about it until it happens again.

If it does come back those systems are connected to a ton of sensors located throughout your Jeep so it could be time consuming to track it down but we can do it.

Keep us informed and if it only happens in bad conditions I wouldn't worry about it to much.

Re: esp bass light on and car with swirvy road

thanks bro! it was strange i was driving home doing 60(black ice everywhere) and all of a sudden the light came on. so i pulled over and shut off the truck for 5 mins. then turned it back on. lights stayed on.

got home and light was gone. today when i started my truck light was gone again. not sure if it was a hiccup or not

Re: esp bass light on and car with swirvy road

If the light comes on I dont think there is a reason to pull over, unless the car starts driving odd or start hearing odd noises. Prob hit a patch of ice and the system went off and got stuck for a bit then reset itself. I think in the manual it says if the light stays on after a few starts then have it serviced.

Black ice everywhere and you were traveling at 60mph? That light coming on may just have saved your life.

First thing you should do is get rid of the black jeep.
