Gasvomiting

Hallo again ! The Swede got problem again. I have an XK 5,7 lit 2006.
This one spit out a lot of gas when the petroltank is full. I have the Workshop manual (cost a fortune shipping to Sweden) but I cant find the reason. I have checked the NVLD (i think) solenoid at the canister and it works, and no messages on the OBD. Please give me the next clue.

Re: Gasvomiting

Is it coming out of your fuel door area? If so I'd say you have a clogged vent tube. If it is dripping out your exhaust you have a bad injector and that can lead to a hydrolocked engine.

If it is gas and it is coming out of anywhere it is very serious. Let us know where it is coming from.

Re: Gasvomiting

It`s petrol, gasoline and it occurs only at the gas/petrol station when the pistol automation closes, half a secund later it spit out 2-3 deciliters of gas. Is there any ventvalve in the tank taht malfnunction?

Re: Gasvomiting

Sounds to me like you have a clogged or pinched vent tube.

Re: Gasvomiting

Thank you for responding !
Where do I find the vent valve ?, as earlier, the NVLD vent/solenoid attached to the canister beind the right rear wheel does work.
