GC Trailhawk - Strange shudder/ loss of control

- I had a strange and scarey experience in my GC Trailhawk yesterday. Traveling at highway speed (85 ish), Jeep started to shudder - violently.
Car Weaved back and forth across the lanes, as if I hit gravel or snow (but did not, dry pavement ). I was able to control and straighten out, nearly sideswiped car next to me as well as the concrete median road divider.

I thought I blew a tire - Checked - tires- no visible damage or wear.

Psi was a little high (48-50) which I assume is normal at highway speeds to have it increase.

The tires have 12k on them, came equipped with car - 18" Goodyear All Season Wrangler with Kevlar sidewalls. I assume these are ok for off-roading but 99% of my use will be highway driving.

I asked the service manager - he had not heard of this issue. I am not only little spooked but at a loss at what the issue could be. I thought the tire(s) had come off the wheel.

Any ideas out there?

Cold air pressure is 36. At highway speeds today, it increased to 45-47

Hi thexr6,

Was the service manager aware of the PSI when you spoke with him. Did they do any diagnostics or test drive the Jeep for you?
