They drove it for 150 km for relearning process so now it's smooth as butter... so far....

Attorney has been retained. Letter has gone out to FCA demanding buyback.

Re: Grand cherokee2015 gear issue

Eugene the Jeep. Many thanks. I love my 2012 with V6. I use Eco almost all the time. I've had many dealers wanting to buy my Jeep and for a bit considered the 2015 as I thought the 2014 was plagued with issues. I'm so glad that I kept my 2012. It has just over 50K miles and is very reliable. I've only had one wheel sensor go out and the HVAC blower since buying it going in 3 years now. The sensor was in a long harsh trip and was covered by a service contract. Same with HVAC blowers. Now no more service contract. I've complained a bit about the anemic second gear in the 2012 but really pressing the pedal for passing gear fixes any real issue. Again thanks for your posts. The sheep will be paid in just 2 more years. I don't need another headache with 60 months of payments. I even briefly entertained a switch to the Cherokee but laugh every time I think back to that. I live in a snow bent and I've had many a good SUV but you just feel better equipped in the Jeep WK2.
