Head light control module?

So, after a night on the town (I.E. Mcdonlad's/Walmart) I get home and notice that my passenger side headlight is out. At the time I think nothing of it and will check it in the morning. Next morning I get up and find out the bulb isn't blown.. interesting. I then look in the book and can't find a specific fuse for the headlights so I just pull them all. All good. I then try my park lights, and high beams, they both work. So, I'm confused but I have an appointment with my crap ass dealer to get the ac fixed before my warranty runs up.

Today rolls around and I take it up there, this time with my girl so she can keep me away from the hot chocolate. Of course my favorite advisor was there and told me not to worry about it they'll fix it all and it should be under the warranty including the light.

Well, 5 hours later I get a call saying that my headlight control module was burnt out and it was because of my little LED lights that I had installed which I argued with him that it had nothing to do with it, but he had me caught should of taken them out.. Anyway he said that he'd be nice and add the control module to the warranty even though he wasn't suppose to because it was $500.00 bucks, so I'd only pay the deductable of $150.

Now I looked online for a Headlight control module as I'd never heard of one and nothing came up, but I've come to the conclusion that he was talking about the Integrated Power Module? Anyone have any experience with this?

Oh btw the AC WAS NOT covered under the warranty and they want $387 for the parts.... I called up Mann Jeep/dodge and the service guy got pissed that they told me it was covered and then wouldn't cover it.

Re: Head light control module?

It's the front control module, p# 4692024al
From what I'm reading that may be part of my stalling issue too.

Re: Head light control module?

It's at the house right now but I took it to freedom because they said they were going to cover the ac. Then when they told me about the part I called mann just to confirm the part, and when they didn't know what freedom was talking about I called freedom and got the part number

Re: Head light control module?

Well, I put in some HIDS with just the single relay and that fixed my light problem, but now I'm worried that the other side may quit also...

Re: Head light control module?

Yeah I have the Hids on both sides but I just used the relay that uses only one side of the factory plug. The other side still won't work with the passenger side plugged in.
